Beyond My Reach

You live in a world beyond my reach
Walls you built so high; I cannot see.
I know because I’ve tried with incredible feats.

You have blocked me out with a crystal wall
Struggles rage on, worse every day
I can see each one, but cannot help at all.

You face foes beyond my own
Fighting them relentlessly, but your power falters
If you had let me in, dual strength would have shown.

You do not believe my ardent pleas
They bounce off your fortress and back to my ears
I want to help you. Let me please.

You think I would crumble against what you fight
Demons, rage, and perpetual stress.
I would stand with you with all of my might.

You live in a world beyond my reach
Walls built so high, but I can see
The persona you have taken is your most incredible feat.
